WilliamH is correct; Elio Motors has told us those are the proposed stores; which ones are correct, how many and which ones will be opened first and any other details on the stores will be announced when the time comes.
I was told before that the company that's in charge of the transportation will also be responsible for the stores.
We have discussed this company about a year ago, but the name escapes me at the moment.
You can do a search on Elio Stores, or Elio distribution and you'll probably come up with a couple of hundred that meet that criteria.

I'll see if I can find it; or perhaps someone else has it handy we'll post it in here.

That's it, or very close to it; right now, they have auction houses all over the country; and if you look at their map, it's almost a mirror image to the Elio map.

Thats kind of cool. I just got an HTC Vive VR headset a couple weeks ago. A virtual storefront is an interesting idea. Wish I knew how to model things in 3D and program stuff.

Fantastic, how do you like it? My son finally saved up enough money for a Vive and a new video card (currently just has a 2GB GTX 960). Just waiting for the new RX 480 video cards to hit the market later this month. If they live up to the hype, seem like a killer deal for just $200.

That may be a viable option in the future, but until Elio establishes itself, they will need showrooms for people to experience it for themselves. Caddy has the reputation to sell vehicles this way, Elio is still a newbie.

Or pay the some of the early Elio owners to showcase their cars on given days and locations... (for a nominal fee)

Skygazer is correct.
Same deal going from Oregon to Washington; Oregon doesn't have sales tax, but WA does; when you go to purchase a vehicle in Oregon, you'll get it with no sales tax, but when you bring it into WA you have 30 days to have it get a free inspection at the State Patrol, and then pay $56 for that "Free" inspection plus the sales tax here when you go to get your WA plate.
I'm going to have to go through this because the OR Elio store is 30 miles away, the WA Elio store is 180 miles away.
The tax will get collected one way or another.
