I don't know, but I can go to the source to find out. I went to grade school with the guy who started Voyager, Charlie Monroe, and he's married to one of my wife' cousins... ;-)

Instead of replacing the back wheel like in some trikes, it adds to it. As stated above 'training wheels'? It seems really big training wheels.

No. You need a seat, steering wheel, an enclosed body. VW Trikes are also motorcycles for that reason.
