Interesting concept, I wonder how wet brakes and tires work after cruising in the lake?
A disk brake isn't bothered all that much; couple of little stops (ok, slow downs) and it would generate enough heat to dry it out.
But if it had been sitting in the water for weeks or months, you might have a problem.
Drum brakes are a completely different story.

Neat that it is amphibious. :)

Perhaps the Triski is more Elio like?

I don't like the $TBD + shipping

"If you have to ask, you can't afford it"
Add $these up...

New 55 Hp motorcycle (like my 650 V-star)
New 55 Hp Sea-Doo type jet ski.
New Sea-Doo trailer.
New Trailer hitch.

Factor in not having to take the SUV and trailer along everytime.
Factor in the convenience of not having to store and maintain...
Two toys, an SUV and a trailer instead of just this one.

Now compare $that with $this when they set a price.

Hopefully I still have a few more years of MC capability. 500lb. ain't bad.
And hopefully they'll have more colors to choose from when it's released.
Hopefully there's a place to store your leather when you go in the water.
Now I have a reason to work out harder (shirtless on my biski).
