What If The Elio Had Two Doors

What if the Elio had two doors, not for the driver, but a second one for the passenger on the same side. It would cost more and not look as good, but it would be easier to get in and out of and easier to access the back seat for groceries. I am sure some one could photo shop a second door to see how it would look. Just a random thought.

Although the Elio will seat two it really is designed as a single passenger commuter car. Having two doors wouldn't be consistent with the idea of cheap commuter car for one person. I also suspect that a passenger may not appreciate long stints in the back so promoting the back seat as anything more than an extra seat for rare use is probably not worth the effort of trying to engineer and pay for a second door.

I agree, so maybe a stretch limo addition, just kidding. I do see some people having the Elio as there only transportation and a second door could be handy.

Of course that would destroy the structure of the roll cage but what the heck....... who cares about safety?

I don't know if it would be big enough to making getting in and out easy enough for anyone older than 10
