Well if I understand RScheider's reporting correctly, Paul Elio is buying up all the used Elios on the market, rebuilding them, fitting 'Ironman Tires' to them, and has sold 250 of them so far for $1000 a unit.

That's the grand plan. Here's where the new Elio motors is. I found where this operation will be. So it shows that with the off the shelf parts, it'll be easy to make even more Elios.

Very amusing! Now, I would really like to know if there is anything new on the Elio front. Anyone have any news?
nothing new with the Elio motors we knew .... in short, its dead and is time to move on .... the best hope we have is for Mark to bring his BEX into production

Selling refurbished cars in Phoenix. That's the latest news. News before that, they lost the plant as it's being fully leased out to a few other companies.
Where it stands today. Keep the website up and keep the LLC current. Then when the phone rings at Pauls refurbished used car dealer, it just might be Bill Gates on the other end. From there they can talk to Solo or Arcimoto and contract them to build the Elio-E. Both have lots of excess space to build something. They just need a customer. Once that happens and they make enough of the Elio-E, they will start making the Elio-G and fulfilling their obligation for the 65K reservation holders. With the locked in price people got back in the day, it'll be a smokin' deal come 2050.
So Paul needs your support, he has these for sale and would like to talk to the reservation holders for a good deal he can give you. The more he sells, the more he makes and can fund Elio Motors.

So, it looks like that everything is working out. If Aptera runs out of money, there might be another place that would work as a contract builder. They did pull out of their lease for their solar panel thing they were working on, so there's another plant they could access.
