The primary use seems commuter,
just tad more than a real big scooter.

Its everyday transportation.
To work and back the vocation.

Efficiency in price and use,
with freedom from "car"tel's abuse.

Not to replace van or truck thus far,
or even become the family car.

A commute truly becomes an elation.
When driving such new transportation.

The auto paradigm so needs to go,
and follow 3-wheels with the Elio.

My Elio will be my daily commuter and will replace an old Dodge I drive. My wife drives our other car an F-150 crew. I home to use the Elio in some long trips. For that reason I am looking at buying or building a small light aerodynamic trailer for baggage.

Beyond the vehicle, the purchase program is very unique.
If I understand this correctly, one can walk into a dealership and drive out Elio with only a Gas Card in your hand.
When you buy gas (perhaps once a month) an additional amount is added as the 'car payment'.

So one could sell their gas guzzler outright and actually come out way ahead, if having only a 2-seater car is OK.

But what about the interest rate on the card?

What ever the rate, it will only apply to the charge over a period of 30 days, not the whole price of the car. Could luck out and get a card that is zero if paid off at time of billing.

If you charge $10 and it shows up on card $30, will you get charged interest on the whole 30 or just the real charge of 10?

If you put down $1000 and the Minimum Payment is $88.33 you will have it paid off in 5 years. This is if you paid no interest. There will be interest on the $5300 but maybe a small Percentage rate. Then when you register it in your state there will be TT&L fee.
