It's not important for any of the established business partners to mention Elio until there is a product to mention. It's more important that investors and the pre-order community knows Elio has partners for parts and service showing progress in the production planning cycle.

Pep Boys established customer base could care less that PB is an EM partner. Elio coming soon means nothing until it's actually on the transport on the way to owners. Only then does PB have to set out the WE SERVICE ELIO's sign and have trained Elio technicians on board.

I agree. But as soon as the Elio is in production and the autocycle catches on you can bet they will.

Just as a note... If Elio was going to bail they wouldn't be working individual state representatives for bills on the autocycle.

Elio is not going to bail, but based on the recent delay did an investor bail on Elio? If so it's good there are other funding options pending.

What we know is that in May of 2014 we were told that EM was planning for production starting sometime during the third quarter of 2015 and, as of two weeks ago, the production target date is now sometime in the first half of 2016.

People can choose to look at those dates any number of ways. If you choose to measure this delay from the beginning of the 3rd quarter 2015 to the end of the 2nd quarter 2016 then this would be a year long delay. However if you measure the delay from the end of the the 3rd quarter of 2015 to the begging of the first quarter of 2016 then it would only be as little as three months.
