When will a positive statement come out from Paul Elio about the autotrike? This is easily a very LONG TERM investment & all-in 100% lose your money it it doesn't happen.

First things first: The 24 E's, the 100 fleet vehicles, acquired funding, and only then the production start followed by Elio deliveries. Life is filled with success and failure, happiness and disappointment. All in or refundable deposits are the individual choice reservationist's make.

What do you mean? We have been getting weekly progress reports on the E-series, including pictures, video, and the last video even included the handoff of the first E-series to Continental for ABS calibration.

That is hardly being kept in the dark. If you are looking for a "positive statement" regarding a hard deadline for starting production for the public then you are likely to continue to be disappointed. As the past has shown, schedules slip and at this stage without the bulk of the funding specific target dates are not worth even stating.

But... earlier this year they mentioned E-series being built in June and beginning production of the 100 fleets in December. They completed at least one of the Es in June and we know others are already in progress, so look to be on track.

I believe we are starting month 4 of the 15 month time line. This is the closest thing we have to a hard date.

You mean like the whole string of positive statements at the E1a press conference last week? Uh, how about last week?

This is easily a very LONG TERM investment & all-in 100% lose your money it it doesn't happen.

And you knew that 1) when you read and agreed to the terms of your all-in reservation (you did read it, didn't you?) and 2) when realized that 90% of all starts-ups fail and Elio is a start-up.

Look at my reservation number. Know that I understand your frustration, but you are overlooking positive progress that's been happening, and acting like Paul owes you something. News for you: He doesn't owe you spit. (Remember that agreement?) And he's been pretty forthcoming with news and information, even if it's never as much or as good as we want.

Sit back, eat a Snickers, and relax while we wait for more news.

Guess I've flipped out when I read a post about 2018. I agree that we have gotten information & I read the non-refundable portion.

Looks to me as if we are supposed to be in month 5, but are really abiut 2 months behind that. Note that without the next big block of $ things come to a halt after engineering test.

You'll be alright LG. Things are still moving forward but good things can't be rushed! I learned to be patient and be content with the update we get at least twice a week. Just in case you missed it, Continental was the recipient of the very first E1a and we will be hearing from them/EM how the tests are coming along soon I hope! This TESTING PHASE is very important and may well be tied in to the release of the ATVM funds because it need to show that it's SAFE ENOUGH to be driven.
