In the spirit of the gracious, forgiving and magnanimous person I am, I'll wait til some of my smug, doubting, "friends" and relatives drop by, take them out to the garage to see the Elio, look at them with a &$%& eating grin and say "F--- You!". 
I will take mine around, and offer to give them a ride; but no one else is driving it.
But the day after I get it; it's off to the tint shop <I've already worked out a deal with them>

When I get mine will drive it around for all the folks to see that laughed at myself and wife when we told them we were getting the Elio. Since most folks in our little town think is is just a scam. Will be nice to show them to their face that Elio is no joke, it is the real deal.

My dog and I will find a quiet road, and with the windows open cruising about 45mph, enjoying the purr of 3 cylinders and a fresh breeze.

The wife and I are still deciding. Do we fly to Shreveport and bring the first one home when it's ready and have the second one delivered or do we wait until the second is ready and drive them both home?

I once owned a 1957 Isetta. It was a sort of puke green. I loved that car. I was in college and I was pretty well known because of it. I paid $50.00 dollars for it in 1962. After graduation from college I sold it for $450.00. Now they're worth $30k To $50K. Darn hindsight.

If the shipping cost is the same I'll probably pick mine up in Houston since it is quicker for me to get there than to go to Shreveport. I'll make that call when the time comes.

I GOT THE RED & WHITE ONE IN FOR $500 IN 1990 .
IT WAS IN PARTS BUT A SOLID COMPLETE CAR WITH GOOD PAPERWORK .
