You love to own one but don't have the patience to wait.....worse yet, you don't believe it'll happen but you're still here! What do you hope to gain here??? You won't find the answers you're looking for here because only EM can provide that! The rest are just opinions, guesses and some really good estimations from our professionals here who are more realistic! And then there's you!

Sure I want to own one, I don't want to see Paul Elio delay for bs reasons and run the project so far in the ground that it can't be saved by someone taking over being smart enough to make it a reality.

I know Lichter spotted him $10 million to secure the Shreveport GM plant.

I could have sworn there was another CNN/MSNBC interview where Elio corrected the news anchor and said they had $50 million in investors lined up. I can't seem to find that interview.

Ok, ok. Sorry didn't know you're that young. I'll have to give you credit for being feisty - that's an adjective so I'm actually complementing you for sticking to your guns. All I can say is this project is not like some Hollywood movie that you can guess ( most of the time) what the ending is before finishing the whole show. You're young so you should always look on the brighter side, after all, nothing is over until the fat lady sings right? You'll get to ride on your very own ELIO at age 22, how's that? By the way, I'm also 21.....plus TAX!

I knew going in this may never happen. But I am still very optimistic I will have an Elio. The only thing that gets me upset are those calling this a scam. Even if this never materializes, I will never be convinced that Paul has/had every intention on getting his car into production. Am I disappointed? Sure. Am I giving up? Hell no. I put my 1k down nit only because I like the car but also because I believe in Paul. I still do. If he was being shady, he would have waited until the last minute to tell us of the delays instead of 10-12 months in advance.

Make the P5 with the IAV motor and a AMT transmission only. Since 90 % or more of the vehicles on the road are automatics, this should be an easy thing to do and simplify assembly. Add cruise at the factory also, and that would make a Elio with automatic, a/c, tinted glass and cruise the only FACTORY vehicle.

I don't agree with most of your post, but I do agree with this part.
