You keep telling everyone you live in THE SUNSHINE state and that may be true but I tell everyone I live in SUNNY WARM New Mexico where we have far more days that are perfect for "top down" driving and no humidity. Guess we will have to let others decide who has the better weather:p:D:rolleyes:
I No defense, I actually do it on purpose,- would you give me- we'll ALWAYS have green lawns and cheap drinking water, and sandy Ocean beaches??

> Pct. exceptional drought:

An estimated 325,700 Arizonans, or 5.1% of the state’s population, are affected by the continuing severe to exceptional drought, the smallest share of any of the nine states with the most serious drought conditions. About 29.5% of the land in the state is affected by the severe to exceptional drought, slightly more than half of the 57.1% that was affected in 2014. Drought conditions worsened in the eastern part of the state in March, with the drought levels in parts of four counties reclassified as severe or extreme. The state may experience even more serious conditions in the future. According to the Colorado Basin River Forecast Center (CBRFC) snowmelt into the Lower Colorado River Basin reservoir, which supplies water to Arizona, has been very low and largely depleted. Rippey also noted critically low reservoir levels in Arizona, a long-running problem for the state.

Good Grief!, first good piece of news about my E. Had I had it by now, financed it, as proposed, I would be out my gas money AND, my EM monthly payment. (we here in S florida, consider Jacksonville to be in Georgia)- I might just be taking a wild stab at this, but I'd bet my elio's rear window, that this is not a Florida exclusive, and to keep it on thread title, I'd have driven up to the pump with my automatic trans. Like we say down here the further North you go in Florida, it starts feeling more like The South.

-Is there a safe area of Florida where there is no chance of sinkholes? Technically, no. Since the entire state is underlain by carbonate rocks, sinkholes could theoretically form anywhere. However, there are definite regions where sinkhole risk is considerably higher. In general, areas of the state where limestone is close to surface, or areas with deeper limestone but with a conducive configuration of water table elevation, stratigraphy, and aquifer characteristics have increased sinkhole activity.

In an effort to assist the state residents are encouraged to report sinkhole information by filling out a subsidence incident report form on the Department's website and submit the completed copy to the FAGS. This website also contains information on sinkholes and how they form.

They develop in the thousands each year.
