And it would be a waist to discuss testing on a P4. The only thing the IIHS is interested in discussing is testing the actual vehicle that will be on the highway, and this is the "E" series vehicle. Do they have one built for IIHS to examine?

Also, what is the proper name for the "E' series, production model vehicle?
I recall "&" (and) being used a few times by PE
Jerome mentioned that Statefarm "was on board" insuring the E. He mentioned the "visit" today, and (this is not verbatim ) that it was a look-around/kick the tires to get at what they would be using to establish customer rates. I don't think any of the slight changes/ dimensions of body height/width/rear seat height, would impact their final decision. they don;t have to commit at this time to anything- considering EM hasn't begun to actually build Es
If EM could walk away with a "promise" it would help with further publicity to have known insurance Co.s be prepared to write policies

agree .... scheduling events like the one today and tomorrow (May 05, 2015 - May 06, 2015 Ruckersville, VA Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) - Symposium with US insurance companies. - Closed to the public) just doesn't sound like a company that feels its on a path to extinction
Exactly.

If EM actually had an E series of the &, the proper name would be the Stealth.

That sounds reasonable. Most of the time, companies on the edge of bankruptcy continue to operate as though everything was normal, right up to the date of the bankruptcy. Elio's political/legal arm and their marketing arm have always been active, even though there have been no manufacturing or testing legs to stand on.

The IIHS will only test a vehicle from the dealer (or store) randomly that represents a production model. There will be no testing by them prior to production.

G1 mentioned that is correct for one set of tests and for automobiles, not motorcycles (Which definition EM uses when it fits.)
