Right on the money! It's difficult to fathom how much of our lives are dictated by our socioeconomic status, and how quickly those with disposable income forget what it means to not have any. Would I like to have an awesome dash to look at for the thousands of hours I'll be behind the wheel? Sure! Let me check my 'awesome-dash-package' budget...... Nope, still nothing! Guess that budget item was slashed during the very contensious 'kids want to eat and we prefer the house WITH heat' filibuster by the majority party. The results of this may be more of an indication of how much total disposable income each voter has than anything else.
Disclaimer: You've conveniently forgotten to include, "Nothing. I absolutely hate it, but can't afford options 2 thru 6."
For that reason, it's pretty "fairly" slanted as it'll probably (and intentionally?) exclude a very large number of folks from voting on it.
I seem to remember that part of Elio's credo used to be giving the people what they want at an affordable price.
Of course, my interpretation and memory may not be all that accurate.
I may have projected my preferences onto what I remember and may have then rationalized it to support those preferences.
Then again, it may have been Elio's verbage that proved, on several occasions, not to be all that accurate.
Now, keep in mind that it is possible to change the poll and add that "forgotten" slot.
And it is possible to enable those who have voted to change their votes.
But then, sometimes you have to slant things to "prove" that you're in a (your own) little majority.
However, it is a poll, and it is what it is, as are the others. Nothing more, nothing less.
All the rich folk and all the folk who actually want the Elgin, have at it.
Cut and paste. God that was easy.

My hatred for the Elgin dash has nothing to do with style and everything to do with practicality -- if I wear my distance glasses while driving, I cannot read the dash numbers, but I can easily see where needles point.
I can usually get by without reading the speedo, since surrounding traffic provides plenty of clues, and sound provides a good enough clue for shifting, but if the dash is unreadable, I'd rather have no dash.
I will absolutely look into replacing the damned thing, even if I have to rely on a tablet with an ODB II connector. It is just wasted scrap metal for my purposes.
