many times over the years we have driven by a huge pyramid beside I-40 in Memphis, Tn .... its apparently housed several different things over the years but is reported to have been empty for a good while .... I've been following the press reports of it being converted to the world's largest Bass Pro Shop .... visiting this Bass Pro has just been added to our "Go To" list

I've been to the original Bass Pro Shop in Springfield, MO. Had a buddy that lived about 1/2 mile away from it...Impressive! Then they built a bigger one up on St. Charles, MO...MORE impressive!! Since I plan on swinging by Memphis, TN on the way back from Shreveport next year, all I have to decide is whether to pick up the BBQ, and then check out Bass Pro, or the other way around. ;) Thanks for the "heads up", Jim.

PS - Just thinking on the fishing subject...With the shape of the Elio, I could see a fishing lure, maybe crawdad, wrap for it being popular down by Lake of the Ozarks. :D Heck, it's already got big claws sitting out front.

It's quite an interesting structure. One of My clients offered to walk my wife and I threw all the facilities back when it was a stadium because it was or is quit unique in it's design.

I enjoy visiting the normal Bass Pro locations however this Pyramid looks amazing! I am hoping I can find a reason to be in Memphis during my travels this year so I can check this out.
