You guys crack me up. Cats are useful animals really. They earn their keep around here with the small rodents. But, chicken when it come to larger rats like possums, river rats, groundhogs, stray dogs and other cats. But, my Heidi dog is the terror of the them all. I love my lipstick and my little dog. Cats are useful animals but can't compete with my Heidi dog. (See her in the back window of my elio?) Adopted her from a puppy mill a few years ago. She was trained and adorable. Too old to keep pregnant any more. Never messed in the house and does my chores with me. Love to chase my chickens around and sits on them till I go to her to pickup the frightened but unharmed bird and toss it where it belongs. She beat up a stray mother cat and stole her kittens from her. Heidi raised those kittens for 7 weeks. NURSED them and all. She can't understand why the baby goats still have their belly buttons and wants to clean them ... but the baby goats are bigger than Heidi. Funny as hell to watch. She was a good puppy mill mother and now she is my buddy. Oh Yeah and cats are useful animals.

I hope I get to see a picture of the special car seat you will have in your Elio for Heidi. She sounds like a gem. I have nothing against lipstick for other people. It simply does not agree with my skin. No matter the price or quality my lips crack and peel. Definitely not worth it in my not at all humble opinion. :-) Z

BTW I drove school bus for Sylvania Public Schools while finishing my degree at U of Toledo. Of course I also ran a swim program, taught swimming, taught outdoor and camping skills at summer camp, worked in an education materials library at UT, and anything else a single mother can find to do to make ends meet. Oddly enough, the variety of all those jobs made it one of the most enjoyable work periods in my life. I took a creative writing class one quarter and used to carry a small pocket recorder to "dictate" ideas and poetry while driving. LOL It was great :-)

Nearly impervious to door dings, working on a college campus has it's downsides and door dings are one of them. My current commuter's rino-lined bulbous plastic fenders ward them off reasonably well but I'm hoping the elio is narrow enough that it's a non issue.
