I'm really hoping they come with an optiin for a bike rack accessory that will mount on the right side of the Elio since there is no door there. I wrote to EM about this a couple months ago and they said it's one of their ideas in the works.

I already have a piece of HUD. So I surely wouldn't want to add to it. :D
The only time I had HUD displayed on my windshield was when I was following a cattle truck. I guess if you don't like looking at the Elgin dash you could close your eyes...
"I already have a piece of HUD. So I surely wouldn't want to add to it"

I was referring to a HUD = Heads Up Display used to project images of the gauges in the line of sight.

What are you talking about?

... It is called... Messing with you. Play on words. Why so serious? I know what an aircraft HUD is and the new technology being used on cars. "HUD" is a slang word for crap.

Nope, never heard that; you must live in a really strange part of the country.

Oh wait ......Utah..... yeah, that would explain it.... :becky:

Hummm, You didn't know that?
As per the Urban Dictionary:
Hud
messed up, old, ugly or anything that needs to be replaced.

HUD
Referring to a large piece of dung or poop.
(i.e. That car is a piece of hud.)

Utah strange? ...Maybe a little bit. It just depends on what you are comparing. At least I get outside once in a while...:boink:

(The other slang meanings for "HUD" are disturbing. Those must come from Washington.:boxing: )(It is amazing how many twists people put on a word):focus:

I think it'll be strange and different, but I like that it will be this way for just the reason you mentioned.
My use of the vehicle will involve me picking up my son from school every day. It's bad enough that I'm going to have to get out to let him in. I'd hate to be fumbling with the seat belt all the time. Maybe with the seat belt on the opposite side of the door, I may not need to get out; just skootch up.
Skootch...it's a word.:D

another candidate for the right-side rear door
