I believe they already said the seat belt would be over the right shoulder.

as the way it works out for us, when we are in a vehicle, I almost always drive .... after thinking about having the shoulder belt attached on the right side, I decided to ride in the passenger's seat today .... I don't like for the belt running across my chest to be tight so I adjusted it in the same manner I do when driving .... bottom line for me, once the belt is snapped into place, I couldn't tell any difference .... for me, I just don't see it as an issue

Right side seat belt would help me because I broke my left clavicle a year ago. I fear an accident would break it again and screw it up more than it already is.

Why not just beef up the hinges and do a bigger single door?

Longer doors get more difficult to use when parking is tight but the Elio should have enough offset to make up for a little longer door. That might not be that bad.

I am happy to see viable ideas being discussed about a second door or longer door. It would be good to have rear seat access without the driver having to get out. It is a second generation idea with merit..

Given the importance of a low price it's more of a dream, but a Mazda RX-8 style rear door would make egress from the rear seat a pleasant experience.

I'm not sure what kind of car this is but look at the rear seat leg room. Yikes!
