I think once the Elio hits the streets these sections under Elio should be added, just 'cause there will be a lot of activity in them;

-Elio Mods and Hacks
-Accessories, Retail and DIY
-Maintenance and Repair

Could be a driving reason to go to this forum for many.

Possibly also;
-Autocycle Racing

I wouldn't be surprised if they came to us to ask for help with it.
I think we've already supplied some of that. You can bet the supplier community does some research here and on other forums.
I actually had an associate of Zapp respond to me in an email that they monitor 'subjects like this' a year or so before Elio come on the scene.

Update to the Donk'd style. I can think of at least three more ways to re-style this one part. Here's one.

I have to be very honest here; when I looked at it the only thought that came to mind was yuk
Sorry, it's just not an appealing look for me; Love a lot of the other stuff you've done, but the 3 spoke rims and rubber band tires just don't work for me.
Not a problem. I didn't make it because you or I liked it. I wanted to experiment on how such thing would be done. Possibly it's the 'Donk' look that messes it up for you. Wire wheels might provide a total different personna.
Very much, there is no accounting for taste, one man's flower is another man's weed... :-)

The "Donk" look? What's that?
I do like that you put Brembo Calipers on it; and the new lights next to the rear wheel is a nice touch; but it just has this kind of "empty" look to it.
I know what you mean about appealing to someone's taste; I built custom for many years and had some that people just loved but would always get a few that thought it was just "ok" or "you've got to be kidding me". You have to do what is right for the one that's paying for it or in this case, what's right for you.
Wasn't trying to insult it or you; sorry if you took it that way.
