Of the pictures posted yesterday, Does anyone understand the picture that has the tube pointing at the camera with the sheetmetal behind it? What is it part of?

Took me a while to figure that one out too.
I think it's the exhaust pipe with the outside cover; but it will turn out to be something else, I can just tell.

One other thing I discovered that that not all of the pictures they post are from the P5; there's one they slipped on and put the P4 in:

I don't remember seeing that "triangular" piece / gusset on the frame in any P5 frame picture they've posted.

Looks to me like the upper rail on the passenger side (right side as you sit in it). I see part of a body panel that appears to be the right side of the autocycle as well.

When fabricating a roll cage, it's common to leave extra on the end of the part until you firmly decide where it will be butted up, or where and how another part of the cage will be attached.

I could be wrong, but that's my two cents..

Yes, I called it left "A" pillar looking at it from the front since there is no "passenger" side.

Also, their is a left tire a right tire and a rear tire. No front rear.

FWIW, vehicles' "right" and "left" sides are based on the normal driving direction of the vehicle. It is irrelevant whether the vehicle is a single-seater, or a tandem-seater. The meanings of right and left do not change based on where the driver or passengers sit, nor based on where the observer is located.

Maybe that confusion is why the terms port and starboard came into use.

to me that suggest the tour folks are getting ready for the coming big reveal of the P5 at the LA Auto Show
