I've totally thought about that. It's a small car and I can imagine it can quickly get cluttered.

Not sure about that. The app is software that resides in your phone or tablet, and the OBD2 reader plugs into the OBD port, out of the way. So basically the only thing that would show is the phone or tablet, essentially a DIY Skyz-Matic system that provides the engine diagnostic functionality you're looking for without tearing out the Elgin.

Everyone who is concerned about the "glanceability" of the Elgin gages, it won't take much to fix that. Just add a color gradient in the background behind the numbers and you can tell where you are with peripheral vision or a glance.

I saw the Tablet in the Elio, a little too much for me, my phone isn't much smaller. I may opt for old school hood gauges.

They are fully aware of the Elio. I talked with Dakota Digital about their interest in bidding the dash for the Elio way back when. They said EM indicated that a dash and the supplier had been locked in.
