I'm sure they'll just get the IRS involved and take all your money away from you.

Not sure, have they ever gone after non players for stock fraud? (by non player I mean I have nothing to do with the price of stock here)

What all do you need to do to transfer the stock to a broker ( e-trade )

Called Morgan Stanley, they will transfer all shares to my account, but it will take 2 days. DANG!
Oh well, after that they can sell shares for me.. probably be at $.50 by then....

How do you go about transfering

TD Ameritrade will but I do not know of any costs that would be related to the transfers.

I will be glad to let you know that TD Ameritrade does not charge a fee to receive a transfer in. You other brokerage may charge you a fee, but if you send us the statement that shows the Transfer or Termination fee we will credit that back to your account.

How do you go about transfering

I called Morgan Stanley (I have a retirement account with them), I faxed my stock info, they said it would take at least 2 days to process, they would call me when that was done and I could then sell the stock.

I think, "step one", is to contact Vstock and get your account information/number emailed to you [it's a .pdf]. I did this just yesterday and it literally took minutes to receive a response. That way you'll have the important info in-hand when you contact your broker about transferring the stock. I'll defer to the guys with E-Trade accounts for the details from there.
