This is why I say let it be a motorcycle..Did those 5 states include motororcycles in their ban?
It remains a motorcycle and will always be a motorcycle by definition......just an enclosed motorcycle and that wouldn't change........just licensing and helmet requirements.

I don't know if the bill includes motorcycles..........but if that strategy works for banning direct sales of cars..............legislation may soon follow banning direct sales of motorcycles sponsored by motorcycle manufactures and dealerships. I'm not in favor of such legislation unless it protects the consumer.......and this clearly does not!

Never say (will always) never.

Are you stating that my state will never designate my Elio as an auto cycle and charge less than a car, put more for a bike for licensing?

I maybe mistaking, but don't most states plate by weight(road damage)?
When a state fines out it is missing out on money, I think they will make a new category and charge more for the Elio than they would for a bike. JMO

Lucky you.:( I wonder why it's more for a bike?
The old argument was motorcycles cost the DMV more to do state inspections, since they discontinued annual inspection on motorcycles now they argue motorcycles have more accidents and cost the state more per driver in police manpower. HA! told you NJ is strange.
