His statements aren't really much different than in the past though. Still no funding coming in. Until funding, production doesn't start. Elio throwing out dates is like someone crying wolf. This happens every year or 2.

Well if we are going by the boy who cried wolf(funding) analogy, the wolf(funding) did eventually show up in that story.
:D

I'm not overly negative or positive with the recent developments. I do think ElioCoins is just another of many cryptocurrencies with one thing in common. No real value beyond the money people are willing to pay to have them. Of course, that's what governments do now since none back their currency any more.

I can't help but think this is a reach for funding. I was really hoping the new administration would be helpful in obtaining the Gov't loan, but it looks like that's dead.

Anyway, at least they're not announcing failure.

I was just thinking about the old line in regards to US currency...

"Backed by the full faith and credit of the US Government..."
Now if you think about that, it's hilarious.
That may be but I can still take my dollar and buy something. They've done well enough for 200 years...

The world desperately needs some better interviewers. That said...
Paul Elio:."...and because of that and while we're in the process, I can't get into detail because we have to follow the rules of a security..."

Here we go again. It's like saying, "Please invest in us but understand that I can't give you any details about your potential investment."
Patrick Byrne didn't seem to have a problem with giving us information about "the process." Be it correct information or not.
So... Paul speaks, but, once again, did he really say anything besides 'I can't say anything'?
He said.
1. The permanent delay is over.
2. Did not lose any suppliers during the delay.
3. We need hundreds of millions.
4. This funding will take us all the way home.
5. If STO goes according to plan, won't wait on money.
I found that #5 statement interesting, maybe suppliers will take ElioCoin? Kinda like an IOU?

Does anyone know Elio's credit rating? I used to know how to look that up but I can't find it now. I don't think the suppliers will take ElioCoin but I do think they will accept orders on credit, possibly in exchange for favorable terms down the line. Pep Boys for example will benefit greatly from this if it turns out how they want it to. A fairly decent sized auto parts store with a side job of general "fast lube" style service will now have people driving out of their way to get work done.
