Only Elon is in trouble with the SEC, not Tesla...and it's complete bollocks, which is why Elon refused the settlement.
It isn't COMPLETE bollocks. Elon DID tweet out that he was thinking of taking the company private and that he had funding secured. That's just something you can't do... making false claims that manipulate your stock, which it did. That, despite the fact that he probably did it to impress his girlfriend at the time... Stock at 420? yeah, okay. smoke another one, dude. Anyway, he seems to be a good idea guy and an inspirational leader though he makes some really weird choices about what he tweets out.

Yes, and:

The former SEC Senior Counsel Thomas Gorman believe the SEC would have had a difficult time proving their claims. The SEC was overreaching here, with a rather weak argument. Should Elon have been so quick to tweet something with potential to have had a massive impact on the stock? Probably not, but that doesn't mean he violated any rules.

Sweet. You'll have to tell us about the ordering and receiving process and the ownership of it... so we can live vicariously through you.

Ordering was easy. This is to be my wife's vehicle. We went for a test drive of the RWD LR Model 3 to make sure she liked the dynamics. She absolutely loved it, so we just had one of the employees order our configuration for us. Couldn't have been easier.

Our Model X order and delivery was much the same, absolutely no hassle...and we hardly had to do anything, but sign and drive away. I do hope our Model 3 requires fewer service visits than our Model X, however. Not that the Model X has needed frequent service, but it needed more than our other vehicles over the first year (if you don't count oil changes).
