Forum Rules/guidelines?

Question to the moderators...if someone within the forum is constantly posting articles and information into the forum under the wrong category...can those postings be moved or deleted?

Just tired of going through the forum section...under "The Elio"...and getting articles related to Tesla, solar, my Elio competitors, etc, etc all posted just under "THE ELIO" General Discussion... Several members have been huge violators of this. Im not saying that we cant dicuss things like my new shoes, or my dogs new favorite dog food...but can we just make sure they are posted under the right sections?

(Deleting some people's almost spam new posts are another whole dicussion...)

Can't argue that because it's true but I don't think it's done intentionally.....so, if you have anything new or substantial to discuss regarding the ELIO, let's hear it!

Without those posts and interesting discussion that often times leads into Elio discussion, there would be little discussion. It keeps the Forum somewhat active, interesting, and compels me to visit while waiting for “new and substantial” Elio discussion. We can certainty ignore those misplaced articles that would otherwise require a lot of overtime work for our moderators. With that said, whatever works. I’m still waiting on Elio’s stated schedule for ride and drive events, so I can start a new Elio test drive thread to spark some serious Elio discussion.

Agreed!!!

Reality currently points to the sun setting on all things Elio...so unfortunately there’s very little Elio Motors news to discuss...

I would venture to say there’s less than 25 active posters left... and because of Elio’s financial dilemma...most of the forum member have lost interest...and moved on...

The only way this forum can remain active is to broaden the discussion to other topics until the Elio story plays out..

It doesn't have to be that way. I think it's fair to say if you have nothing positive to say about EM or it's ELIO, then don't say it! I've gotten in trouble so many times in this forum some of my posts were actually deleted when I tried to voice out my frustration about their current situation it's not even worth it when we don't actually know what's going on as an outsider. Stay away from the ELIO General Discussion and post anything other than the ELIO at the General D. or Similar Vehicles and we should be ok with the mods. We can discuss our heart's content regarding the Tesla, FUV and the SOLO with no repercussion.

Perhaps the website itself should be changed from "Elio Owners" to "Elio Dreamers", as none of us are Elio owners.
