Hate to see you leave. I can’t blame you or anyone else. The silence is killing what is left. Maybe you can come back if it ever makes it.

I believe in the concept. It should have happened. Maybe, just maybe somehow it will make it to production in spite of the deep hole it’s in.

Until something better is designed and comes to market - or this site closes - or I croak - I will be here.
Paul, get it built.

What I find fascinating is that the stock still has any value at all. There has been no news from the company, good or bad, they have stopped complying with SEC rules with not issuing reports, and Paul is not to be seen anywhere. Not exactly what you would call a good company to invest in. I have all but given up, but will continue to watch the drama unfold to it's end.

It is sad to say, but some people will hold the stock all the way down to zero. They are unable to sell for a loss or under the mistaken belief that they are helping Elio Motors

Or..... perhaps some hold onto stock for the same reason I hang around. The concept is awesome and the vehicle could change lives in a very positive way. While I’m frustrated at the progress to date - the concept needs to be executed. I still back the concept. Paul and his crew brought the concept to the table. One way or another - it needs to make it to market. Paul - do what you have to do. It’s bigger than yourself. Don’t let the most affordable, efficient and practical vehicle die. The quality of many lives could be changed for the better.

Holding the stock hurts Elio Motors chances. If the stock goes cheap enough and the loans could be discounted enough, there could be a potential buyer. With the stock value at fifty million and a possible thirty percent buyers premium, no investor would be that stupid. Debt free the company would be worth twenty million tops. The company is around 150 million in debt, the loan would have to be paid off at ten cents to the dollar.

Very good point. Can’t hardly argue....

For the life of me - I can’t figure why some entity hasn’t come out with a vehicle that touches on all of the
aspects/points of the Elio. A company that is big enough and well established could do it. They just refuse to. Looks to be attributed to greed.....

What would happen is, that if an entity took over Elio and got it to market - the thing would cost $20k -$25k or more. I bet my wife’s cat that would take place ;)

I think that a company like Mahindra could do it, would need lots of Indian or Chinese parts tho.

Not just them.
- Geeley - Sell the Elio through Volvo dealers. Established service, warranty, marketing and sales. Geeley already has a US plant, they could just built Elios there and just call it the Gelio.
- Polaris - Most experience of anyone when it comes to three wheelers. Established service, warranty, marketing and sales
- Harley - That company needs something to make them grow again. Established service, warranty, marketing and sales
- CanAm - Have three wheelers and this would help their US presence. Established service, warranty, marketing and sales
- KTM - They make tons of different things and can easily make Elio a reality. Established service, warranty, marketing and sales
- A Russian car maker. They are willing to make things different. They have tons of excess manufacturing. The just lack a presence in the US.

There are plenty of companies that are not subject to the Big 3 and Big Oil. Plus they have things in place and can sell in their home market too. The real question is, why don't these companies just crank out an Elio copy? They have watched Elio for 10 years and yet they just don;t do it.

My guess is that they were waiting for Elio to produce, to see if there was a demand. Elio's guess of 250,000 units a year was totally unrealistic, I am not sure how much of a demand there is. Without someone making one, we will never know.
