Maybe if the bill was passed then others would start building and investing in autocycles. The autocycle act is dead. It would need to be re-introduced for it to become "live" again. Unfortunately it comes down to money. Why would anybody sponsor a bill for a vehicle that nobody even makes? There are no manufacturing jobs. No supplier jobs. No dealer jobs. Their time is better spent figuring out the budget, immigration, healthcare, etc..
Makes sense to me.....Maybe if the bill was passed then others would start building and investing in autocycles.
Now we need someone to pay a lobbyist to get this done as it’ll never happen without it. So could it be reworded to include Arcimoto, Solo, Vanderhall, Polaris and Sondors. Then they could pay for it since they owe Elio anyway.Makes sense to me.....

It was shrewd when Elio was the powerhouse in three wheelers. Times have changed and Elio could rewrite it where all of the three wheelers are included. Elio helped out those companies with the state requirements and with the Elio government affairs guy helping out FUV and the helmet thing in Michigan, this is a possibility. We need more 3 wheelers and all need to combine their energies to forward this whole industry. What in the legislation made ‘autocycle’ apply to only Elio? If true, shrewd, but maybe shortsighted.
