I don’t see any purpose to any kind of class action lawsuit.

The world is littered with thousands of companies that went belly up. It happens every day!

Elio Motors is just another failed vehicle company. Very few ever succeed.

I heard from Michael Noel (aka TnT), he received his refundable refund: his experience speaks for itself:

Well to my shock and amazement I received a check today, and put in my account right away.
After 7 months and about 120 emails I finally got my refund back, not sure what worked on them the most...my emails or the TV bulldog from Phoenix that kept trying to call them leaving messages. The check is signed by Paul himself which leads me to believe that he is who I spoke to on the phone that day a few months back.

Took a while..Let me know if anyone else needs any help, I can always share what I did. Thanks for all your help and let everyone know I finally got results.

I suspect that the TV reporter snooping around got this taken care of. because if Paul would have waited longer, this would have opened up a pandoras box. If a story like this broke, a bunch of other websites would get a hold of this and then everyone that knows Elio Motors, will be concerned. Stock price would plummet and a bunch of the refundables that are the ones where the credit card companies are not holding the money but the ones that Elio is to have in escrow, would be making a mad rush to get their money back. Paul got out of this by the skin of his teeth but I believe that there will be a next time. For all we know it could be going on right now where someone is waiting months for a refund. I look at it this way, if it's that difficult to get $250 out of Elio Motors, then how do they ever expect to pull this off when it comes to actually building the car?

Plus, we are in the month when the Eliocoin is to come out, so will that happen? Was Pat just making it up that it was? It's been 20 months since they announced the Eliocoin and it's been 15 months since any news came out of Elio Motors. Plus if all funding showed up today, that would mean, May 19, 2021 for production to start.
