I hear you! . . . but I don't hear them very well. What makes it worse is these fast food joints always put the person with the heaviest accent or the most limited command of English in the store on window duty - then they "eat" the mike, rendering them unintelligible in any language. Ordering dinner from a clown is not my idea of "eating out".

GPS
The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a satellite-based navigation system made up of a network of 24 satellites placed into orbit by the U.S. Department of Defense. GPS was originally intended for military applications, but in the 1980s, the government made the system available for civilian use.

With the front axle being wider than the cabin don't you know someone is going to wipe out the left front fender or worse when they try to navigate the drive thru lane at the bank or McDonalds and try to get the close enough to reach the plastic tube at the bank or reach that bag of burgers and fries.

Sitting at the drive-up window for my coffee this morning I had a .chilling thought
Some years ago a good friend was murdered while picking up a Saturday picnic for his family. If you think about it, you're in a dangerous position: if someone wants to rob you, your window's down and with cars in front and behind, you're trapped. My defense has always been to squeeze as close as possible to the window or ATM to prevent someone from getting alongside my window.

Well, it looks like I'm going to have to go inside now.
Well, some where on it, the comment was made that with those big ole fenders sticking out there, we would have to be VERY careful going though such "drive up" windows, lest we cause damage to those fenders as they strike the wall under the window.

Well, here's the BB that has been rolling around in my old, empty head: for those of us old enough to remember them. . . . . . . Let's put "curb feelers" on our Elio's.

Not seriously, but I DO thank you ALL for putting up with me and my crazy thoughts and for allowing me to empty that stupid thought from my youth that has been haunting me for a very long time! o_O
