Fun fact: The pistons in the Harley-Davidson TC103 engine are larger in diameter than those in the LT1 and LT4 engines used in the C7 Corvette.

103 cubic inches = 1690 cubic centimeters, or almost 2 Elio engines. THAT is how they can be loud.
I like to compare the engine in our Honda Fit to motorcycles I see. The Fit has a 1500cc motor so when I stumble onto a motorcycle that has an engine about the same size I can only marvel at people willing to put that much power between their legs and be comfortable about it! Motorcycles with a 1500cc displacement (more or less) really aren't that uncommon!

Got a friend that owns a Boss Hoss with the 500hp 502 V8. He got on it in front of my house, and the torque almost laid the bike over.

Sounds like there almost needs to be outriggers to keep it upright in that situation! That still sounds like a smallish bike compared to this one, the world's largest production bike! http://www.chromjuwelen.com/de/network/237/8813-gunbus-motocycle-meets-airplane.html And there's no way I would even consider getting close to this monster sitting still or on the road! Once you see it, imagine scaling the Elio up to this size. Mind boggling.

I wasn't paying attention to the numbers! Your friend's bike is 100 cubic inches bigger and 150 HP more than the bike I put the link for. How BIG is your friend's bike?! My word, I just saw this bike and thought, How could there be anything bigger? Obviously I was wrong. Again.

Don't have a picture of John's bike, and the first one he bought had a 350 Chevy V8. Bought it and went to Sturgis back in like 2005. Wrecked in on the way back, and ended up getting a new one with a 502 Chevy V8 (500hp). Stupid hp for a motorcycle, and SCARY fast.

Wait, is that a passenger perch I see in that picture? Yeah, right. Either of those bikes have way more power than is reasonable. I used to ride a 150cc Honda scoot and the crazy ride I imagined having was the 850cc twist and go scoot. 0-60 in 4 seconds or just a touch less. On a scooter! As much fun as having that kind of power available to you sounds, it just can't be good.
