Doesn't matter.....They didn't have the money or an engine/transmission at that time to start any serious production anyway. That whole thing back then just didn't add up!
That is not clear whether they had the money lined up at that time or not. I think it's at least plausible they did have funding lined up, and with a clear funding path, were on track to production in 2014.... until the suit. Post lawsuit, I'm arguing, they have been scrambling to keep moving forward and only now catching up with themselves. And it's unclear now whether they can get funding lined up again, my fingers are crossed but who knows.

We do know EM already had IAV designing the engine early in 2013, I'm arguing it was on the way to being production ready in 2014, the transmission was supposed to be off the shelf anyway and not a major time or cost factor. To me EM was rapidly accelerating from late 2011 to early 2013, then wham! They just went all screwy. That's why I think something happened that was fast and almost catastrophic.

But that's just me. :D:p

No folks I'm not an Elio Naysayer, Elio Hater. I'm just a reservation holder like most here. I just see this company through a different set of glasses than I did a year ago. Still hoping to someday see #684 in my driveway![/QUOTE]

Actually LillyMayPatterson, I'm the creator of that page. Is that a problem?
