I’m fairly certain that the photos of the black Elio were taken in 2017...the reason no one is inside the vehicle...it’s was just loaded/unload from the enclosed trailer that Elio Motor utilizes to transport the prototypes...

The black prototype was transported to NYC when Elio was trying to secure their hundred million dollar IPO...

I’m trying to understand, were these two pics send out recently in an email from EM? I don’t see them in the latest Momentum.

Was there a ‘pop up’ show recently in NYC? If so, this begs all kinds of questions, like why wasn’t it promoted? Do these EM pics show the actual ‘crowd’? If there were more people wouldn’t EM want to proudly put that out in a pic?

Are we supposed to just think that EM is out there displaying the vehicle, but they really can not actually put it in writing, because they really are not showing it? Did they wait ‘til another similar weather day to put the pic out which was taken last year?

Maybe my imagination is running wild, but now since EM doesn’t really ‘say anything,’ it’s all that more important to look at what they don’t say.

Honestly, that's what I was thinking too when I first saw these. I remember the reports about the EC-1 being spotted in NYC.

Sadly...Elio’s corporate transparency is gone...I’m just waiting till the smoke clears to understand the facts...my best guess is there will be misappropriation of funds that were earmarked for engineering and development...

That is quite possible. The email just said the E1c was in NYC, it did not say the pictures themselves were current. So they might have been older pictures that they just used again.

I will take a stab at posting the blog here since it is not up on their website yet:

This week's blog is email only and will be posted to the website next week.

Happy Friday Elio’ers! If you’re a hoops fan, the past week has been downright blissful. Even if your bracket is busted, the games have been entertaining and there are quite a few underdogs to cheer on. Quite frankly, the tournament is going by way too fast and we’re not ready for it to end! This weekend is a great opportunity to kick back and watch a few games.

Do you remember the show “Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?” If you don’t, contestants would guess where the lead character was located based on various geographical clues. Let’s try a variation of this popular show: based on the picture below, can you guess where the E1c is today?

Okay, let’s use some deductive reasoning. It definitely looks like a big city. If you’re thinking it’s a warmer locale, like Los Angeles or Dallas, you overlooked the fact that everyone seems to be wearing a heavy winter jacket. Here’s another picture to help you out.

Give up? If you guessed New York, you are the winner! We often get asked where the E1c is located and what it’s been up to. Primarily, we bring the E1c to investor meetings (which is what the E1c is doing today.) When the E1c is not at investor meetings, it is in a location that allows for quick access to our engineers in Michigan. The E1c is not on a public tour, as we’re using it for investor meetings and engineering, but it will be in the near future.

We often hear a ton of great suggestions from our reservation holders about the design of the shirts that come with All-In, non-refundable reservations. This got us to thinking: why not let our reservation holders design the next shirt? So, we’re going to do a little contest. Send us your best designs for an Elio Motors t-shirt to tellmemore@eliomotors.com and we’ll pick a few of our favorites! The winner will receive a prize package that will include, obviously, the shirt they designed and a few other cool items. We can’t wait to see your submissions!

Thanks for your support and have a marvelous weekend!
