    Just Wow!!!

This is reality verses fantasy. There comes a point where you can have your "must haves" and sit around for years not getting anywhere or just relax on them and get it to market. If it's really a deal breaker, then let Elio know that it must be a US built motor and that the 90% NAFTA must be in...

    Elio Coin Offering Begins.

That has to do with ICO's, not STO's. Eliocoin is an STO and they will follow all SEC rules. So Elio is safe.

    Just Wow!!!

That's living in fantasy land and not realistic. I'd love it if all the money came from US owned companies but I've moved on. I need to eat and pay the bills. So, I could refuse the work or just take it. I found that a Honda check is as good as a Ford one. In the real world, we have to deal...

    Just Wow!!!

It sounds like that if we just eliminated all of the foreign companies in the US we'd be better off. That US companies would be formed to take up the void that is left. So for the last 38 years, companies like Honda are bad for the US and they should have built their plants in another country...

What Is Elio Stock Trading For Today?

you missed the point. tZero was going nowhere and got lucky. They extended their offering over and over again. Since the ElioCoin is private right now, we have no idea as to who is buying in. The real question is, where will ElioCoin be traded? I would assume tZero but I don't know if they are...

What Is Elio Stock Trading For Today?

It took longer for the private sale for tZero coins. Only when they got an influx of $160M from the Chinese, did it all of a sudden was done. So, that tells me that they were around $90M out of the $250M needed before the influx.

    Just Wow!!!

You bring up a point that people don't talk about. I think there are many just want the good ol' days when we had the Big3 and the cars were made in America in American plants. We can reminisce about that all we want but times have changed. I'd rather have a German, Japanese, Chinese or South...

    Electric Drive?

Go to New Mexico and you'll see lots of houses that did that back in the late 70's. I worked for a company where we designed a system and it worked great. It doesn't work great if you live in a place where you don't get lots of sun and low in altitude.

Electra Meccanica (three Wheel Electric) Email-11/2/15

You could be like me and just buy a wrecked BMW i3 with REX at an auction. Fix it up (all the body panels are carbon fiber and just bolt on), so if you are patient, you can find the same color panels and just bolt them on. So far that thing is dirt cheap to drive. I have to run the motor once in...

    A Powertrain Press Release

Last count, it was $376.6M for startup. Take off the $125M, then it's 3 Eliocoins.

    Just Wow!!!

The Germans engineer things the best they can. As for actually building the product in Germany, they leave that to the immigrants (most are from Turkey). Finding a German that actually wants to work in a plant is rare these days. typically, Mexican products are the best because if you have ever...

    Just Wow!!!

Is Romania OK? Ford does make the 3 cylinder in Romania, China and Germany. I can tell you that if Ford is chosen the motor will not come from the German plant. You got to deal with the Germans to understand.

    Just Wow!!!

Good find but it's not nearly double the performance and that motor is made in China. So, for what Elio has spec'd out, that would not work for the North American Content and with the trade war with China, could make the Elio go beyond the $7450 MSRP. If I was running Elio, I'd choose that...

It was. Obviously people didn't read the previous part of the conversation to understand it.

    Just Wow!!!

Hopefully it's not a Ford Ecoboost They are not reliable.

    Electric Drive?

There's the Maglev trains and who knows what is going on under the seat. I took the Shanghai Maglev twice last year. I only did it because it was on my bucket list (there are much cheaper ways to get around). With it being in China and Maglev, I seriously doubt they care if it fries peoples nuts.

What Is The Latest Start Production Date?

Probably because of Roush and their long standing relationship with Ford. Roush makes a whole line of performance parts for the Mustang and F150. Roush has always raced Fords even way back when he had the Maverick in NHRA and still does today with him racing in NASCAR and IMSA (Jack Jr races a...

then we now know. No Ecoboost for the Elio because they are unreliable. What Fortune 500 Engine are they going to use then since we can't have a Ford?

Elio's Exterior, Interior, Towing Packages (aftermarket), Being Towed Or Towing A Trailer Options

I wish Elio would update the configurator. People that will be buying these will want to have all of their options picked out and it seems that Elio has stuck with the same thing for a while. I know that getting this thing going is a priority but just having that up to date would take 10 minutes...

    Just Wow!!!

It sounds like it's just what you read on the forums and there's no real idea as to why. Sounds like an opinion as opposed to what it really happening. This leads me to the next paragraph. Forums are the worst place to determine if it's a reliable vehicle. People rarely post about the greatness...
