I also think that most people expect these items now. The last time I looked to buy a new car the sales people were amazed I wanted crank windows and manual locks.
The only things I want is cruise control and pop out rear windows for the dogs. I am not planning on anything else as of now, but that can always change when I see what is actually offered once the car is built.
Thanks for the kind words, here is a picture of my "lucky" pets. Millie the puggle(black dog), Mo half Boston terrier and my tortoises Fred and Ethel. The dogs will fit in my Elio the tortoises will not. By the time I get my ride the turtles will most likely be around 80 or 90lbs.
I used to have a Ural and it was very interesting during hard turns. It would consistently end up on 2 wheels instead of 3. One of my friends who tried it in an open field said "it was the worst driving motorcycle he had ever driven" and could not believe that I was able to drive it as hard as I...
At least you got to see one in person the closet event to me is in Dallas, I live in SW Missouri. Even if I wanted to go to that event they will be showing the older P3. I guess pictures and other peoples descriptions will have to do.

I have trouble with some of the other verification methods due to being color blind. This method seems far more reasonable, even for this color challenged person. I say go for it and thank you for asking what others think.

I got interested in the failed Aptera car company and googled around to find something like it. Elio seemed more realistic, that was early 2013. I waited over a year and a half later to put any money down though.
My 89 jeep wrangler did not have power steering either and I had no problems. It did come with a heater but no radio. The only person who complained about it having no PS was my 5ft tall sister who I tried to teach how to drive a stick. She could not turn it when stopped she could not shift it...
I retired from the Coast Guard in 2003 after 20 years as an Electronic technician. I spent much of that time workimg in the LORAN field. LORAN was a land based navigation and timing system that was done way with once GPS became popular. I really like working on the large transmitters outputting...
