Quiet forum -- still only two of us in Canada? Anyone hear any rumours on Elio's plans to certify in Canada? Perhaps now that we've had multiple delays they could get the ball rolling to get the Elio certified in Canada and get the helmet and licensing laws amended. Peter

I'm considering a factory pickup, but the timing would have to be right. Ideally I'd like to combine the pickup with a long road trip, to take pictures with the Elio at various locations around the states. I'll definitely be considering my options and gathering facts about the Canadian...

Hello everyone. I placed my $1000 all-in order on January 12, 2014. I'm #2305. As far as I know, I'm the only "all-in" Canadian at this time. I know buying from Canada is a risk because Elio doesn't plan on looking at international certifications for maybe a few years after production starts...

That would have been my goal, but without Elio being on the approved motorcycle list it becomes more complicated. http://www.tc.gc.ca/motorvehiclesafety/safevehicles/importation/usa/vafus/list2/Section8_0.htm I'll face that hurdle closer to when the time comes.
