She was wearing velcro shoes as the set rotated. The velcro kept her from"floating" in space. Her hair was also kept under her cap to complete the illusion. This was 1968. If you want to see a good fake floating scene, watch the opening scenes of Barbarella when Jane Fonda completely disrobes in space.
