Not 3 wheels, but interesting to compare with Elio. The CCV was Chryslers attempt at a "break all the rules" design for a practical and environmentally friendly "people's car" for emerging markets. When Daimler took over, they decided to can the project. Relative to the CCV, in theory, the Elio has traded two seats and a wheel for better crash protection, shiny paint, more power, and more creature comforts.
