The fact that they refer to autocycle OR cab enclosed motorcycle would indicate otherwise...Their information is inaccurate for at least one state. (I don't know about any others.) They say a Slingshot is an "autocycle" in Ohio. Except that Ohio has no classification named "autocycle". Ohio has a "cab enclosed motorcycle" classification, and the Slingshot does not qualify for that. You need a motorcycle endorsement to drive a Slingshot in Ohio. If they had a roof over the cab, then it would become "cab enclosed", and you could drive it without the endorsement.
Division (C)(1) of this section does not apply to a person operating an autocycle or cab-enclosed motorcycle
 
					
				 
 
		 
 
		 In early 2015 Ohio added the cab-enclosed motorcycle definition. And just late last year amended it to include a definition of an autocycle. The new autocycle definition is for three-wheeled vehicle with seats, seat belts, and a steering wheel. Thanks for the pointer.
