A used car is still a used car. Maybe years down the road if it becomes collectible people will play more but don't hold your breath for a high demand

Personally, the only way I'd even care about the resale value is if I absolutely hate the vehicle once I've driven it and then wanted to get rid of it...I don't see that happening, so as long as it maintains a reasonable resale value I'm good with it...

I drive my cars into the ground so unless my needs dramatically change or it is absolutely terrible, the only way I'm getting rid of it is when I drag it to the junkyard after 300k or just stick it in the backyard

Way to early to establish any meaningful value.

Aside for the simple basic value that Elio promises I'm drawn to conclude that a far more exciting and dramatic event is taking place. Rare enough that we all will be allowed acquire a really collectable and unique vehicle before anyone else but a chance to get one and then be allowed to witness the Elio become a truly historic vehicle will be quite humbling to me. Witnessing this first hand might turn out to be the single most unifying aspect of the Elio.
That said, and you might call me naive, I remain convinced that a Single Mom or Dad will be allowed to commute and acquire a job and a living is the most valuable aspect of the Elio. I also remain convinced that is the major motivator for Paul.
A unified single family is holy ground in my opinion and a gift of God.

Are people really that attached to this vehicle and more to the point really that financially well off that they would need over Fifty THOUSAND dollars to part with something they spent ten grand on?! The survey says that 30% of the respondents feel that way. Wow, I must be in the wrong tax bracket!

I do agree, that this could be history in the making, and to have one of the first 10,000 off the line is pretty darn cool!
