Distribution Centers

Anybody have an word or thoughts about where these distribution centers or whatever they are called are going to be located?

Also, where do most of you reservation holders plan on picking up your Elio when production begins and yours is ready/

I'm hopping we get a distribution center in AZ. However if allowed I would pick mine up from the plant and drive it to AZ.

That's what I am planning also. Unless there is a center that is closer to me than Shreveport. Am anxiously awaiting some sort of close to final options list with pricing. At this point, all I'm interested in is cruise (which I hear may be standard) automatic transmission and backup camera. I can use my cell for GPS navigation. I am looking at white for color unless they add yellow, at which point would have to flip a coin.

I want mine to look like a frog. My only option will likely be cruise control unless they offer an open fender the front wheels. So it will have to be green!

From what I recall, there are to be 9(?) with the strategy that delivery could be made to the stores overnight.
At first only the factory site will complete total customized Es
Jerome has mentioned a plan to comp fly-ins at a local casino.
Nice to "Plan" but there is much to be accomplished before where/how you get to drive it.
There are many threads just full of speculations on options, pick-up locations, transportation/destination fees, financing, test rides, factory tours, etc. Makes for fun reading as people express their fantasies (me included)

Yes. Elio announced many, many moons ago what cities were getting the marshaling centers. And now, through the Ref A filing, we know what company is going to run them as well!

ODESA, Inc.will run the Marshaling centers. There will be 7 marshaling centers that will be within a 9 hour drive of all Elio stores. Plus, there will be one at the Shreveport plant. The one at the Shreveport plant will put the final touches on every Elio till the marshaling centers are up and running.

Is it Odesa or Adesa? I can't find anything on a company named Odesa but here's what I found on Adesa Inc.
Reading over Adesa it would fit with what EM needs.

When I talked to Neil on the Elio Tour Group he told me that the company that was doing the transport and the retail and marshalling centers was a big national company. The description of Adesa fits that perfectly.
