We were talking about the marshaling centers which Adesa, Inc. will be running. If Adesa, Inc. also has a trucking branch, all the better. The Elio stores will and should be run and maintained by Elio. They will ship Elios via standard carhaulers. Elio has said they'll supply dollies that effectively give "The Elio" two rear wheels to facilitate transport utilizing existing infrastructure.

On Elio's website, I counted 132 retail centers... (in the top 60 markets, I'm sure) Does that seem right? I was under the impression that they were only going to have 60 stores but now that I think about it, they may have only ever said "Stores in the top 60 markets" vs. "60 stores in the top markets".

That's about 8 Elios per store per weekday to hit 250,000 per year. That isn't that bad.

Did you happen to count each city in the Retail Centers Map listing? My guess is, when they say for example "Los Angeles - Long Beach - Santa Ana", that it is just one store. Another example: I know Aurora, CO is a suburb of Denver, and there's only one dot on the map. So that would get us to the count of 60.

Edit: My mind has no problem imagining a realistic scenario... in LA for example, the line is out the friggin' door at 5:30pm, of people wanting to order their Elio. And the dropped jaw when they find out they can come back the next day (or the day after is my guess) to pick up their vehicle. May need security personnel on hand! lol

I did count them like you said... I'm probably wrong there.

What they have said was that not all of the stores are going to open at one time; it will be spread out over time.
They told us that the retail stores and transportation will be handled by an already established LARGE company.
They have never said who that company is, but through a number of hints and tips we did come up with who we think the company is.
Ian was correct, it's Adesa Inc. (<-- link) if you look at their location map it comes very close to matching the map EM has posted as the retail outlet stores. If you look at what they do, they would be a natural for handling it; they have the trucks, they know the business and they are a LARGE company.

Adesa Inc. is specifically identified on page 15, paragraph 2 of the SEC Form 1-A filing.

Someone said that on here earlier but they didn't include that it was in the SEC filing, thanks for verifying that William.
And I believe they spelled it wrong; it came out somewhere as Odesa; found that to be the fault of a spell checker.

FYI they don't have trucks. They are the third party (brokers) that hires out transporters. Watch their youtube vid which confirms this.
Yellow freight, Walmart, USPS, Fed x etc. have trucks
