I've never had one go out. Those little lights are pretty robust. Even my 1965 Mustang never had a problem with the light.

They did before the scanners used today. Now the cop doesn't need to see anything. The computer will tell him if there is money to be made and how much... you still believe the protect and serve line right...

It also allows people who observe someone who has just committed a crime a way of identifying the vehicle to the police.

Amazing how the police get blamed for petty citations and arrests . Some people still don't understand that police only enforce the laws that your dopey politicians write . Vote smarter

Here's a winner in the most asinine ticket category. I few years back I got a ticket for parking on the tree lawn. It was an open field with no sidewalk thus no tree lawn. Here's the kicker… The ticket was written at 2am in the morning. Needless to say the bucket of $5 work of pennies was appropriate to pay the fine. With a smile on my face, I made the girl count out the pennies to make sure I didn't cheat her.
