Nthawk68, sounds like a plan. Maybe a run up to Estes Park and RMNP, Pikes Peak, or OMG road. Actually scratch that last one, don't think I have the guts to do it. White knuckle rides are not my cup of tea!Welcome from Colorado Springs, We will have to plan on some mountain runs early 2016.....
Welcome from Colorado Springs.I'm in!! Pueblo!!
That's what they said about Pikes Peak! My first trip up was in the spring and it was barely one lane wide with all the snow piled up on the sides. I have a heights thing and going up the mountain looking over the edge was more than enough for me and I wasn't driving.LOL! Now if I go up, it has to be midsummer when all the snow is gone and there are two open lanes. It's a beautiful ride if you make a left at Lyons (hwy 7?), go up through Allenspark and back down to Estes. Stayed up there on the St. Vrain river a couple of years back...hope it didn't get destroyed during the flooding.
