Skyz is an option that will be added after the Elio comes off of the assembly line .... an option that has only recently been announced (no clue how long its been in the planning)

I agree. I thought the Skyz was to replace the stock dash and the ipad thing was just so you could access the car when away from it. If you have to have a tablet attached to the dash, that's really silly looking.

that would be my preference, the only thing I really dislike in the design of the the vehicle is the Elgin Dash .... nonetheless, its a reality .... EM has several releases where they have consistently stated the info from the Skyz system will be displayed on the IPad .... Skyz info is designed to supplement the info on the Elgin, not to replace it

I agree, and this is about as good as it gets, CES is a big deal. When I voted I expected it to be toward the bottom, was hoping for it to be toward the top and really didn't expect it to be the top vote. I'm hoping this helps keep the nay-sayers quiet.
