It is very true and I have the birth certificate to prove it. Needless to say, in 1941, it wasn't cool it was just plain weird. Try growing up in a small rural town in Idaho with a weird name. As an adult, I wouldn't trade my name for any other one. Z

Those are old school comments. We are much more philosophical these days. Lol. As parents we now answer the question with another question. I don't know. Are we there yet?

Since Z is the last letter in the English Alphabet one would presume that to your parents you were their end all/be all.
Or they were early hippies & to them Z was short, sweet & could mean all sorts of fun things like Zippy, or Zebra, Zoie........
