BTW, if you've got a non-refundable on the Elio...
And you're thinking of putting a $250 down payment on this, don't.
Rather, just send a copy of the confirmation email for your Elio non-refundable deposit to EMV.
They'll match it in a discount towards the Solo.
BTW when and if you do reserve one, if you put "Order C - 07" in the place where they ask for who referred you, and I'll get a $100 referral credit toward my Solo.
The matching discount you get from proof of an Elio non-refundable will also make the $250 deposit down unnecessary.
Here's the procedure for both programs according to EMV...
Step by Step instruction for Match My Deposit with Referral
1. Go to -> https://electrameccanica.com/apply-your-receipt/
2. Provide us with your name and email address
3. Attach a proof from the company you have a reservation with
4. Subject - Referral (if applicable): Type in your referral name (order# C - 07)
5. Click Submit - Done!
Also, once you have a deposit (either with or without the matching thing) you're eligible for the referral program as well.
I'm not trying to sell Solos here, I'm just making sure one of our members doesn't loose out on up to $1000 in credit. Because if you don't tell EMV about your Elio non-refundable, they'll gladly take the $250 you otherwise send them, give you a reservation and... end of story.
Just trying to help, and yeah, I could use the $100 credit if I do decide to go ahead with my purchase when the time comes.

They're really full steam ahead and I'm liking it! I just got an e-mail from EMV that they are introducing their new battery pack on the 25th of this month. This state of the art battery pack will power the SOLO and the Tofino. Hope it'll be posted on facebook.Wow. You HAVE been away for a while aknaten.
