Flooding In Shreveport

Looking at the current flood plain; the plant is out of the flooding area.
It's to the west of the airport, little south of I20

Google Earth shows the plant elevation as being about 70 feet higher than the river going through Shreveport,

7600 Antoine and 7600 General Motors Blvd show 2 distinct different locations. General Motors Blvd is west of Antoine.
Of course it's possible that the maps haven't been updated.

Both of those streets are still there. The plant isn't near the flooding. All is well.

Right in the #10 post I did in here, the red area (actually kind of pink) is flood plain, the clear section is not; the airport would flood before the plant would.

Sounds right. I only lived there for 6 years (minus one in Korea) and only worked at the plant for a bit over half a year before my engineering was needed elsewhere.
