"Put brain in gear before opening mouth."
A good motto a lot of folks should use..
But I's don haf one of those!!!! It's pure 100% BS up there!
Yet another reason to opt for the manual over the automatic!!!
Just a reminder....it's not a real manual. Just more manual than todays automatics.
Great advice. I am new and cannot figure how to ask a question without starting a new thread?
See if you can find an existing thread in the heading (Elio discussions, general discussions, etc.) on the home page (FORUM) look for a topic close to your question, and ask there. No matter how old a thread is as soon as you add something to it, it will go on the active list, and show up either on the right side column on the FORUM page, or it will register on the new SPY function.
If you can't find an existing topic, click the search, and ask your question there, it will bring up any thread that has your key words asked (lots of them) so look for the newest.
And for as often and as far off topic some of these threads go; it's usually a result of someone asking a question that's off topic.
It's like the question will start close to the topic, and then take on a life of it's own.
All of this meandering is quite typical.
One other tid bit of information, you can click on any member's name, and it will pop up a menu; it gives a little information about them, but there is "Start a conversation" it's is one way to send a PM (=Private Message) to someone; another great way to ask for information.
Being new, you'll see abbreviations in topics:
PE = Paul Elio EM = Elio Motors P# = Elio Prototype model (1 thru 5) E# - Engineering prototypes (1 thru 25)
There are others, but I can think of them off hand (lots of old fart's here too).
ME TOO! With Chartreuse trim.
Hope that I get my Elio soon, I might be to old to drive it. Doug
Welcome to the forum, Doug! I hope you get your Elio soon too! That'd mean I already have mine!
