Well, fellow optimists, I've made the leap and found y'all here as well. I can confirm that I've always been a first adopter from the first Yamaha Virago delivered in my area in 1981 and put my money down on a Smart car (that I/we subsequently withdrew) and being ready to jump onto the Apple Watch as soon as it becomes available; I ain't afraid to try new things. BUT, this Elio looks fantastic!

I am very excited to be in line, althought not "All In", I have put $250 down to hold my place, #100033311, and will consider upping the ante as things progress; I'd love to lay hands on one to confirm my assessment. I'd go full down and all-in if'n I could get the chance to sit in a demo. I'll be on the look out for that opportunity...until then, I'll be hangin out around here trying to get my Elio Owner's fix like the rest of you guys and girls!

Obviously this far in advance we don't have details but we will post them as we get them. I saw the Elio in Portland, OR in July. I was already all in and was simply waiting to upgrade as I saved the money. I am very happy to say I got my number, #6011, yesterday. I look forward to driving my Elio and hope to have it by my 74th birthday. LOL :-) Z

Really Zelio, 74? Now is that real or just poetic license? I'm guessing poetic license, no woman I know would usually give up their age so easily in such a public forum. On the other hand, if it is real, Good on ya!

Excellent! That's why we bought our scooters originally. It was flipping scary at first but we were really sad to let them go. So, like I said, Good on ya! And who knows we may trundle out that way some time, I have family in Canby and we love Canon Beach!
