Why not consider picking your Elio up, down here in Louisiana, at the plant.

Hi and welcome from Oregon, Squier. Congratulations on your reservation. There are a couple of other people planning on driving their Elios to Alaska because they live there and a couple more who simply want to experience the trip. One gentleman is hoping there is the possibility of getting a second windshield because the roads are so bad on the trip. The reservation number is actually different than the production numbers we are waiting for. We are hoping to get them next week. The last release was right after Independence Day. I hope you will enjoy the many things this forum has to offer. There is so much knowledge, speculation, creativity and humor that it helps pass the time while we wait for Elio production and ownership. Enjoy the journey. :-) Z

As Z mentioned we happen to have several Alaskan members and we are glad to see great interest in this vehicle from all 50 states as this bodes very well for future sales. It appears that Paul Elio was right on the mark when he envisioned a unique ultra high mileage vehicle which is also the most inexpensive 'car' available in this country.
